Michaelchurch, St, a parish in Somerset, on the Bridg-water and Taunton Canal, 5 miles S of Bridgwater station on the G.W.R. Post town, Bridgwater. Acreage, 46; population, 26. The property belongs to the Slade family. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Bath and Wells; value, £60. The church consists of nave, with a low tower, and contains monuments of the Slades.
