Heathfield, a parish in Somerset, on a branch of the river Parret, 2½ miles from Milverton station on the G.W.R., and 5 WNW of Taunton. Post town, Taunton; money order and telegraph office, Milverton. Acreage, 696; population, 111. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Bath and Wells; gross value,, £252 with residence. The church (thoroughly restored) consists of nave, aisle, chancel, and a tower.
