Historical Description

Corfe, a parish in Somerset, 4 miles S by E of Taunton station on the G.W.R. Post town and money order and telegraph office, Taunton. Acreage, 1165; population, 320. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Bath and Wells; value, £132 with residence. The church was repaired in 1858.
