Pant, Shropshire

Historical Description

Pant, a hamlet in Moreton township and ecclesiastical parish, Salop, near the Shropshire Union Canal and the boundary with Wales, 4½ miles S by W of Oswestry. It has a station on the Cambrian railway and a post office under Oswestry; money order and telegraph office, Llanymynech. There are Congregational and Primitive Methodist chapels.
