Eyton, a township in Alberbury parish, Salop, near the river Severn, 7¼ miles WNW of Shrewsbury, and 3½ NE of Westbnry station on the Shrewsbury and Welshpool Joint (L. & N.W. and G.W.) railway. Acreage, 957; population, 63.
