Bomere Heath, Shropshire
Historical Description
Bomere Heath, a village, 5 miles N of Shrewsbury, partly in the parishes of St Alkmonds, Shrewsbury, Fitz and Preston Gubbals, Salop, and annexed to the ecclesiastical parish of Leaton. It is close to Leaton station on the G.W.R., and has a post office under Shrewsbury; money order and telegraph office, Hadnall. There are Congregational and Wesleyan chapels.
