Historical Description
Weston-on-the-Green, a parish in Oxfordshire, 3 miles N by E of Islip station on the Bletchley and Oxford branch of the L. & N.W.R., and 4½ SW of Bicester. It has a post office under Bicester; money order and telegraph office, Bletchington. Acreage, 2295; population, 325. There is a parish council consisting of five members. The manor belongs to the Bertie family. The Manor House is a chief residence. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Oxford; net value, £143 with residence. The church is a plain oblong building of stone in the Classic style. There is a Wesleyan chapel.
