Tythrop, Oxfordshire

Historical Description

Tythrop, a liberty in Kingsey parish, Oxfordshire, 2¼ miles east from Thame, which is the nearest railway station. The manor with all the land belongs to the Wykeham family. Tythrop House is a fine mansion of stone standing in a well-wooded park of about 120 acres.
