Thurlton, Norfolk
Historical Description
Thurlton, a parish, with a village, in Norfolk, 4 miles from Haddiscoe station on the G.E.R., and 3¾ E by S of Loddon. Post town, Loddon. Acreage, 1196; population, 384. There is a parish council of seven members and a chairman. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Norwich; gross value, £180 with residence. Patrons, Norwich Charity Trustees. The church is a small and ancient building of stone in the Early English style. There is a Wesleyan chapel and a parish club with reading-room.
