The Niger, Norfolk

Historical Description

Niger, The, a rivulet of the N of Norfolk. It rises near Baconsthorpe, makes a circuit of about 5 miles north-westward and south-westward to the neighbourhood of Edgefield, and runs thence about 7 miles north-north-westward to the sea, in the vicinity of Cley.
