Historical Description

Walcott, a township in Billinghay parish, Lincolnshire, 2 miles N of Billinghay. Acreage, 3339; population, 531. There is a parish council consisting of seven members. The living is annexed to Billinghay. The church, erected in 1852, is a small edifice of brick in the Early English style. There is a Wesleyan chapel.
