Historical Description

Enderby, Mavis, a village and a parish in Lincolnshire, 2½ miles WNW from Spilsby station on the G.N.R., and 6½ NW by W of Firsby. Post town and money order and telegraph office, Spilsby. Acreage, 1167; population, 140. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Lincoln; net value, £419 with residence. The church is an ancient building of green sandstone in the Gothic style.
