Churches

The church, in Bow street, is an edifice of brick and stone, in the Early English style, consisting of chancel, nave, transepts, vestries and a turret containing a clock and one bell: in 1873 the church was restored and reseated, when a new vestry was built, a western gallery added and a new organ and pulpit provided, and in 1905 it was completely renovated at a cost of £200: there are 797 sittings, 284 of which are free.
