Poulton-with-Fearnhead, a township in Warrington parish, Lancashire, 2 miles NE of Warrington railway station. Post and money order office, Padgate; telegraph office, Warrington. Acreage, including Padgate, 1296 of land and 24 of water; population, 1083. There is a parish council consisting of seven members. The church of Padgate chapelry and a Wesleyan chapel are here.
