Little Hormead, Hertfordshire

Historical Description

Hormead, Little, a village and a parish in Herts, on the river Quin, 3 miles ESE from Bnntingford station on the G.E.R. Post town and telegraph office, Buntingford; money order office, Hare Street. Acreage, 1066; population, 116. The living is a rectory in the diocese of St Albans, united with that of Great Hormead; joint net value, £150. Patrons,. St John's College, Cambridge. The church is a plain but good brick edifice, and has a curious old door.
