Timsbury, Hampshire

Historical Description

Timsbury, a parish in Hants, 1½ mile N of Romsey station on the L. & S.W.R. Post town, Romsey. Acreage, 1434; population, 193. Timsbury Manor House is the chief residence. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Winchester; gross value, £75. The church is good, and there is a Wesleyan chapel.
