Post town, Fairford (S.O.); money order and telegraph office, Bibury. Acreage, 1216; population, 134. The living is annexed to Bibury. The church is Early English and Perpendicular, with a Norman porch.

The church of St. Michael is a small building of stone, in the Early English and Perpendicular styles, consisting of chancel, nave, a fine porch of Norman date, and a western turret containing 2 bells: the nave is fitted with low open oak seats, the chancel with stalls: the stained east window was presented by Lady Wilson, of Eshton, Yorks: there are 100 sittings.
