Over, Gloucestershire

Historical Description

Over, a hamlet in Highnam ecclesiastical and Churcham civil parish, Gloucestershire, on the river Severn, 1 mile NW of Gloucester. A Roman settlement was here, and a bridge built in 1829 spans the Severn.
