Historical Description

Drybrook, a hamlet in the Forest of Dean, East Dean township, and Holy Trinity ecclesiastical parish, Gloucestershire, 6 miles NW of Newnham. It has a station (Drybrook Road) on the Severn and Wye, Severn Bridge and Monmouth railway, and a post, money order, and telegraph office under Mitcheldean (R.S.O.) There is a Congregational chapel.
