Historical Description

Fambridge, South, a parish in Essex, on the river Crouch, opposite North Fambridge, S miles N from Eochford station on the G.E. E. Post town and money order and telegraph office, Rochford (S.O.) Acreage, 1189 of land and 115 of tidal water; population, 79i The living is a rectory in the diocese of St Albans; net value, £80 with residence. The church is a small building of brick in the Early English style.
