Hett, Durham

Hett, a village and a township in Croxdale parish, Durham, near the river Wear, 4 miles S of Durham, and 1 mile from Croxdale station on the N.E.R. Acreage, 1279; population, 357. There is a small mission church. The Ecclesiastical Commissioners are lords of the manor.
