Historical Description
Exeter Canal, a waterway in Devonshire, owned by the corporation of Exeter, 5 miles 60 chains in length, extends from Exeter alongside the river Exe to Turf, in the parish of Exminster, where it has its outlet into the estuary of the Exe.
