Stoke, a township in Hope parish, Derbyshire, 5 miles NNE of Bakewell. Post town and money order and telegraph office, Calver, under Sheffield. Stoke Hall, standing in a park on the banks of the Derwent, is the chief residence. Acreage, 512; population, 46.
