Sunderland, a village and a township in Blindcrake, Isell, and Bedmain parish, Cumberland, 5 miles NE of Cockermouth station on the Cockermouth, Keswick, and Penrith railway. Post town and money order office, Cockermouth; telegraph office, Bassenthwaite Lake (B.S.) Acreage, 806; population, 62.
