Historical Description
Holme St Cuthbert, a township-chapelry in Holme Cultram parish, Cumberland, on the coast, 5½ miles N by W of Aspatria railway station, and 5¼ from Silloth. Post town, Maryport. Acreage, 6458 of land and water, and 2478 of foreshore; population, 753. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Carlisle; net value, £200. Patron, the Vicar of Holme Cultram. The church is in the Early English style, and was opened in 1845.
