Holborn Hill, Cumberland

Historical Description

Holborn Hill, a place on the SW coast of Cumberland, near the Furness railway, on the N side of the Duddon estuary, 8½ miles SSE of Bootle. From here a pleasant walk leads to Millom Castle, now an interesting ruin.
