St. Hubert, Corfe Mullen, Dorset

Description

The parish church of St. Hubert is an ancient building of red stone and brick in the Early English style, consisting of chancel, nave, south transept, south porch, and a tower containing 4 bells: the stained east window, placed in 1893, is a memorial to Miss F.S. Plumtre: the church was repaired in 1850 and 1865, and affords 343 sittings.

Church Records

The parish register of baptisms, marriages and burials begins in 1651. The original register books are now deposited with the Dorset Archives Service, but have been digitised by Ancestry.co.uk and made available on their site (subscription required).
