SS. Peter and Paul, Caundle Marsh, Dorset

Description

The parish church of SS. Peter and Paul, rebuilt in 1857, is a small stone building, consisting of a chancel, nave, and central turret containing one bell: there are two stained windows, each of three lights, one to the members of the Auber family, the other to the late Mr. Wilmot: there are 70 sittings.

The parish register of baptisms, marriages and burials begins in 1704. The original register books are now deposited with the Dorset Archives Service, but have been digitised by Ancestry.co.uk and made available on their site (subscription required).
