St. John the Baptist, Plumpton, Northamptonshire
Description
The church of St. John the Baptist, rebuilt in 1822, chiefly from the materials of a more ancient church, consists of chancel, nave, south porch and an embattled western tower with pinnacles containing one bell: on the south porch is a sun-dial: the church plate was presented by Horatio Moore esq. and his wife, and bears date 1693: there are sittings for 100 persons.
