St. Lawrence, Cholesbury, Buckinghamshire
Description
The parish church of St. Lawrence, formerly a chapel of ease to Drayton Beauchamp, is an edifice of dressed flint in the Early English and Decorated styles, consisting of chancel, nave, south porch and a western turret containing one bell: the east, west and south windows are stained: the south porch has an Early English doorway: some pieces of the old font of the same date are now placed at the entrance to the churchyard under the yew arch: there is a piscina in the chancel: the church was restored in 1873: there are 110 sittings.
