Description
The parish church of All Saints, conspicuously situated on the edge of a steep hill, on the side of which the village lies, is an ancient structure of sandstone, built in the early fifteenth century, consisting of chancel, nave of three bays, aisles, south porch and an embattled western tower containing 3 bells; the fabric was repaired by Dr. Browne Willis, the well-known antiquary, in 1757, and the interior was restored in 1883: a new organ was provided in 1911: there are 150 sittings.
