St. Nicholas, Arne, Dorset
Description
The parish church of St Nicholas is a small but ancient edifice of sandstone, in the Early English style, and consists of chancel, nave, south porch and a western bell cote containing one bell: there are 60 sittings.
Church Records
The parish register of baptisms, marriages and burials begins in 1762. The original register books are now deposited with the Dorset Archives Service, but have been digitised by Ancestry.co.uk and made available on their site (subscription required).
