St. Nicholas, Porton, Wiltshire

Description

The church of St. Nicholas, rebuilt on a new site given by I. A. Ingram esq. and consecrated in 1877, is an edifice of flint stone, in the Early English style, from designs given by the late Mr. J. L. Pearson R.A., F.S.A. of London, and consists of chancel, nave, south porch and a bellcote at the west end containing 2 bells: there is a burial ground attached.
