St. Catherine, Staverton, Gloucestershire

Description

The church of St. Catherine, anciently dedicated to St. John the Baptist, is an ancient building of stone, in the Early English style, consisting of chancel, nave, north transept and a low embattled tuwer on the south side containing 3 bells: there is a piscina, and over the belfry window a sun dial; the church was restored in 1897 at a cost of £1,000, and affords 150 sittings.
