St. Oswald, Shipton, Gloucestershire
Description
The church of St. Oswald is an edifice of stone, in the Early English and Perpendicular styles, consisting of chancel, nave, south transept and a western turret containing 2 bells: there is a piscina and portions of sedilia in the chancel: during 1903-4 the church underwent a complete restoration, under the superintendence of the late Mr. H. A. Prothero, architect, of Cheltenham, at a cost of over £1,000: there are sittings for 100 persons.
