St. Nicholas, Saintbury, Gloucestershire

Description

The church of St. Nicholas is a building of stone, in the Norman and later styles, consisting of chancel, nave, transepts, north porch and a tower with spire, containing 6 bells: the east window retains some ancient stained glass, representing St. Nicholas: during the years 1907-13 restorations were carried out at a cost of over £1,100: there are 120 sittings.

The register of baptisms dates from the year 1561; marriages, 1585; burials, 1603.
