St. Mary, Radipole, Dorset
Description
The parish church of St. Mary, the mother church to Melcombe Regis, is a building of stone in the Gothic style, consisting of chancel, nave, transepts, south porch and a western turret: the roof of the church was restored in 1893: there are 250 sittings.
Church Records
The parish register dates from the year 1560. The original register books are now deposited with the Dorset Archives Service, but have been digitised by Ancestry.co.uk and made available on their site (subscription required).
