All Saints, Langton Long Blandford, Dorset

Description

The parish church of All Saints, rebuilt in the Transition style in 1862 at a cost of £2,000, is of stone and flint and consists of chancel, nave of three bays, transepts, south porch, and an embattled western tower with pinnacles containing 3 bells: there are three memorial windows in the chancel and various other stained windows, and an ancient brass with an illegible date: the church affords 200 sittings.

The register dates from the middle of the 16th century. The original register books are now deposited with the Dorset Archives Service, but have been digitised by Ancestry.co.uk and made available on their site (subscription required).
