Description

The church of St. Peter is of stone, in the Early English and Perpendicular styles, with remains of Norman work, and has a central tower containing 6 bells; there are monuments to the Powell family: the edifice was restored and enlarged by the late William Moore esq. at a cost of £3,000, and has several stained windows: it affords 400 sittings, 300 being free.
