SS. Peter and Paul, Boughton under Blean, Kent

Description

The church of SS. Peter and Paul is of flint and stone, and has a Perpendicular western tower containing a clock with chimes, presented by the late Mr. Serjeant Spinks, of Brenley, in 1890, and 8 bells: the chancel and the north chapel are Early English, and there is a rood screen with good Perpendicular tracery and several brasses, and the east and west windows are stained: in 1871 the church was restored and reseated at a cost of about £2,000: there are 450 sittings.
