The church of the Holy Innocents, originally erected A.D. 616, but dating in its present form from the 12th century, is of rough flints, in the Early Eng1ish style, with Decorated Insertions, and has a central tower containing 4 bells: there is some stained glass and a screen: in 1870 the church was restored, and affords 244 sittings, 200 being free.
