St. Peter, Abbotts Morton, Worcestershire
Description
The church of St. Peter is a building of stone in the Decorated style, dating from about 1350, and consisting of chancel, nave, north transept, south porch and an embattled western tower with pinnacles, containing 4 bells: the church was restored in 1840, when a gallery was added and some old stained glass, given by G. J. A. Walker esq. was placed in the east window; Mr. Walker also gave a carved oak chair of the date 1666: the altar rails and communion table are of substantial carved oak: there are 176 sittings.
