St. Osmund, Evershot, Dorset
Description
The parish church of St. Osmund, restored with the exception of the tower and chancel, in 1853, is of Forest marble, with dressings of Ham Hill stone, in the Gothic style of the Early 15th century, and consists of chancel, nave of three bays, aisles, south porch, and a western tower, containing a clock and 6 bells: the stained east window is a memorial to the late Mr. Martin and his wife: the church has 300 sittings.

The parish register of baptisms, marriages and burials begins in 1694. The original register books are now deposited with the Dorset Archives Service, but have been digitised by Ancestry.co.uk and made available on their site (subscription required).
