St. James, Bossington, Hampshire
Description
The church of St. James, which stands within the grounds of Bossington House, is a very small ivy-clad structure of flint, rebuilt in 1839, in the Early English style, and consisting of chancel, nave, north transept, south porch and a belfry over the chancel arch containing one bell: there are 50 sittings.
Church Records
The register used to date from the year 1665, but the ones currently preserved at the Hampshire Archives commence in 1763.
