ALEXANDER, BOYD, Esq. of Ballochmyle, co. Ayr, b. in 1796; m. 1828, Sophia-Elizabeth Hobhouse, sister of Lord Broughton, G.C.B., and has issue: his son and heir, CLAUD, in the grenadier-guards, b. 1831.
