Bayvil, a parish in Pembrokeshire, on the river Nevern, 3 ½ miles ENE of Newport, and 6 ½ SW of Cardigan. Post town, Velindre. Acreage, 1351; population, 83. The living is a rectory, united with the vicarage of Nevern, in the diocese of St Davids; gross value, £103. Patron, the Lord Chancellor.
