Moel Orthrwm or Moel Offrwm, Merionethshire

Historical Description

Moel Orthrwm or Moel Offrwm, a mountain in the W of Merionethshire, 2½ miles NE of Dolgelly, and 5½ NE of Cader Idris. It rises to an altitude of 1328 feet, commands fine views, overhangs Nannau Park, and is strongly fortified "with a stone rampart, enclosing traces of pyttiau, and guarded by buildings at its two entrances.
