Rochford, Worcestershire

Historical Description

Rochford, a village and a parish in Worcestershire, on the river Teme, 2¼ miles E of Tenbury. There is a post office under Tenbury; money order and telegraph office, Tenbury. Acreage, 1372, population, 280. Eochford House is the chief residence. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Hereford; net value, £218. The church is Norman, and was restored and enlarged in 1865. There is a Primitive Methodist chapel.
