Knightley, Staffordshire

Historical Description

Knightley, a hamlet in Gnosall parish, Staffordshire, 4 miles S by W of Eccleshall. It forms a chapelry, annexed to Gnosall vicarage, in the diocese of Lichfield. Knightley Grange is the chief residence. The church is small, and was rebuilt in 1882.
