Farmborough, Somerset

Historical Description

Farmborough, a parish in Somersetshire, 2 miles from Glutton station on the G.W.R., and 6½ SW by W of Bath. It has a post office under Bath; money order and telegraph office, Timsbury, Acreage, 1508; population, 895. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Bath and Wells; net value, £470 with residence. The church is old but good, and there is a Wesleyan chapel.
